A rally is an official Pony Club session organized by the club. These are held at the club grounds on the second Sunday of each month. Occasionally rallies may be held elsewhere.
All juniors must have an adult with them on rally days. Parents are also asked to assist instructors when required. (Setting up jumps etc)
Starting time is 10.00am. Riders must be on time as points are deducted at gear check for late arrivals. Lunch is from 12.30 to 1.30 pm for senior riders and 11.30 am to 12.30 pm for junior riders. The afternoon session finishes at 3.00 pm for juniors and 3.30 pm for seniors.
Officially qualified instructors teach members in the various aspects of riding and horsemanship in both morning and afternoon sessions. Full Pony Club uniform is to be worn. Parents are encouraged to watch the instruction from the sideline but are asked please not to enter the ring or communicate with riders or instructors during the lesson. Any queries will be handled by the DC or the instructor at the conclusion of the lesson. Riders wishing to leave the ring during a lesson for any reason should consult with the instructor first.
