Providing a full range of horsemanship with the utmost care and safety for all riders involves a great deal of person power. Pony clubbing is labour-intensive and parental involvement from each family is required to maintain the safe happy environment.
Parent participation includes not only general assistance on rally days, but also setting up and packing away for events such as Dressage Days and Show Jumping Competitions. Also included is help with car parking, marshalling,
gear checking, canteen and assisting the judges at events. Participating in club activities is a good way of becoming familiar with the club and meeting other members.
To help fundraise we run events throughout the year (see Calendar). We need lots of help to make these events run smoothly. For each event we require that one parent from each family make the time to help out in some way. The money raised is to better the club for your child as well as everyone else. The reward for your assistance is reflected in your happy and safe children and horses and ponies.
